yesterday was the last day of my 3 week cardiothoracic surgical posting at NHC…. abit sad when the end of my shift came…hope i actually made a difference in the care of patients…

I remember 1 particular patient…. she had continence problems so she kept asking for bedpan…once, i got the bedpan to her and she kept apologizing, saying that she was causing trouble for all the staff..and she even said that it was because she was old, that she was useless which really made me so sad….it’s almost as if she wanted to die…

so, i just comforted her by saying that she was not useless and she could still eat, talk and move her limbs…most importantly, it was precisely because she was old, that she had more wisdom and experience than most of the youngsters around…she just laughed it off….hopefully what i said was convincing because i really meant it..

but she still has family members who visit her which is really comforting….

as for my case study, i passed!!! i forgot to ask what grade i got though…..but it’s really weird! my C.I. told the others what grade they got but didnt tell me mine…=’( i feel so outcast larr~~~

well, as for today…..i woke up for lunch and manga-ed at home and had dinner and dl-ed some new songs that a fangirl recommended (HEH) and manga-ed again before watching telly! im a 1/2 otaku now that i dont really watch anime! tmr i’ll be going for a job interview! gooooood luck for me!
