1st week so fast gone….i can only imagine how fast the next 7 weeks will pass….my routine is basically, wake up, watch tv, do housework, eat, watch tv, run/swim, bathe,eat and sleep…..

maybe i should try something different…..but i feel so lazy everyday….i juz feel like watching telly all day long and never have to get up to move….oh well….whatever works…

goals for the holiday:

1)Go shopping for new clothes!!! i just cleared my wardrobe a few days ago and cleared a total of FIVE full bags of clothing….so i need new ones desperately…..

2)Learn how to use makeup!! As well as how to choose, how to apply…bla bla bla….

3)To increase my stamina through swimming!!

hopefully, i can do what i’ve planned…..hehehe~

anywayz….today was fun~ cos i went on a picnic with my family in the morning!!! it was nice…all four of us(cos my bro was still in uni dorm) sitting on the mat with home-cooked beehoon and fried chicken wings!!! then all of us play vocable and tai-ti…..and enjoyed the breeze while playing! it’s nice with people when u can just enjoy their presence and the atmosphere….=))

it’s nice to have these kind of outings once in a while….away from housework and troubles… like a VACATION!

hahas~so long as i can  just not NEED to do anything(e.g. work or housework) and slack with people im comfortable with, it’s a vacation!

Feel so out of it after work today………..last day of attachment at AMKCH….but feels as though im going back there tomorrow….after a month or two, i guess i’ll forget the staff there and even the patients. Unless something/someone gives me a shock, i’ll probably forget….

I’m guessing that i’ll most likely get ALOT of scolding during OT and ED attachment since i forget my theory and practical skills easily…..heck, ask me what to do when a pt bleeds and my answer is look for gauze and tegaderm.

oh well, what happens, happens. at the most i’ll just get scolded and bad grades. so long as i pass, it’s fine. hmm…kinda mental these days…..

i just wanna sleep and wake up in the late afternoon tomorrow….so tired…..damn should have just tried the mooncakes earlier….now i crave mooncakes esp snow skin!

hahas~juz remembered a kid who literally knocked himself onto a pillar….it’s kinda funny if u picture it!!! *walk walk walk, turn, WHAM* hahahahha~not being a sadist but it’s hilarious ….lucky the poor kiddo only had a light cut near the eye, nothing too serious….oh well….at least i had smth to laugh about for today!

tomorrow jus gonna slack at home and be a vegetable. but my hair is still wet from the bath. darn. F.R.I.E.N.D.S to the rescue!!!

tried to cook today and it turned out well! fortunately.

did some housework and left for a movie with a friend i haven’t went out with in a long time…..so fun~ haha~nice to see she changed! as for me, i don’t think so. =(

themovie was darn nice!! it’s called public enemies i think……i’ll buy the dvd. THAT is how much i like it! and i NEVER buy dvds. butnow i remember why i don’t frequent movies that much….. it’s cos i can’t stretch my leg!!!!  in the midst of the movie, i was like,”hmm…my knee feels sore….i’ll straighten it for awhile….”

Frustratingly, i couldnt!! and my knee was sore for the rest of the movie….plus, the movie was 2 hrs plus! my poor knees in pure agony….first time i was actually happy for crowded trains. cos i can stand.

during the movie, my home called me 4 times, so i answered on the 5th call….then the background sound was loud and music was blasting on the other end…my mom asked,”u coming home for dinner?” and i replied,”no” in the most quiet way as possible….but i still got a glare and unpleasant ,”tsk” from my neighbour in the cinema…..in the end, i just hung up….

i felt so guilty la….. dammit….i was sitting in the middle row of the middle column….so any way, if i went out to take the call or took the call inside, i’ll offend somebody one way or another(when I have FOUR missed calls,i’d think,”EMERGENCY!SOMETHING BAD IS HAPPENING!”….

so, at the end of the movie, i called home and asked y there was such loud brackground noise when she called….she replied,”your kor kor la! play rock band with the drums!!”

hey, he is my brother but isn’t he your SON too??

oh well…got home and on the train i called hafiza……she told me my presentation was tmr and i was SHOCKED. i was thinking,”OMG, it’s TOMORROW?!!?!” i didn’t know that…..i thought it was friday or smth….” oh well….lucky she told me….so i can prepare for tmr….thanks hafiza! u saved my presentation!! =DD

that being said, i stayed up to prepare so shall slp now. nite.

super tired…..slept for 3 hrs last night….and for a person used to slping at least 12 hrs at night, it really is VERY tiring. but it was worth waking up early to see my sister’s softball match….she played well! it’s fun to observe but i’ll make sure to sleep early the day b4…..

then went to see her play bball…well, i tried to keep myself awake….but i ended up sleeping there….so i decided to go home to sleep….

as usual, my habit of switching on the computer never dies and i didnt sleep till 6pm….was watching the kdrama My Girl all over again….reason being, i saw it on tv on saturday and wanted to know what happened…one thing lead to another….hence, from the episode aired on tv(episode 3) i ended up at episode 13 today…..

then i woke up to accompany my sis for awhile before she went out……went running in different places, came back to bathe and eat dinner…..and now, i’m bored. AGAIN.

is there an end to boredom?! apparently not,judging from how this week of holiday went…..i wanna watch a movie but im broke. argh. gonna bake choco chip cookies tmr…..most of my cookie” tasters”(guinea pigs really…) seem to prefer the shortbread cookies but personally, i prefer the chocolate chip cookies…. mb i should try using white chocolate chips this time…..create my OWN recipe perhaps? nah, i’ll probably die from food poisoning….

my body is like saying,”go sleep! go sleep!” but my brain is saying,”stay awake! stay awake!” haiz…..think i’m gonna go read some manga before drying my hair….then, i’ll sleep….hopefully.

today’s the 1st time i baked cookies!!!! and it turned out not bad!! i’ll have to admit that my 1st batch was charred but my 2nd was successful!! i used cookie cutters to make them look nice and placed them into small little bags….=)

the only reason the 1st batch turned out charred was cos i expected cookies to have the kind of crispy outlook…lightbrownish in colour like Famous Amos! However, after the time required to bake the cookies was up, i saw that the cookies were still soft and dark-brown…so i reasoned with myself and let it bake a little longer….5 minutes later, i opened the oven and was greeted by a VERY FAMILIAR smell. i could only think,”holy shyt…”

i didnt even need to see the cookies to know it was charred. so for the 2nd batch, i put it in to bake as indicated…..after i let it cool, i tried it and it was nice!! It seems that the cookies were supposed to be the kind of soft and chewy cookies;  NOT the kind i was expecting. -_-” Moral of the story: Follow the darn recipe!

that was is the afternoon…..before dinner, my bro and i were playing the guitars on rock band 2(well,HE was playing…i was just strumming along as if i were playing.) Then Rocky, my dog, sat down in front of us….and then i had an IDEAAAA….

I turned to Rocky and sang,”Amai, amai, amai…..ko-i-bi-to~” in Negishi style from the DMC movie!!  it’s fun, i tell u!!

gonna learn the song…..HEHEHE. Rocky, be afraid…..beVERY afraid…. MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

i still dont really like the fact that im a 3rd yr student…… cos it means working life is coming soon and = no such thing as 1 month holiday…. ofcourse, with the exception of maternity leave but that is out of point… and being a 3rd yr student = final year project a.k.a. FYP.

Oh well, that aside… Currently, I’m training for my upcoming NAPFA test which is in like 5 weeks time….my willpower is decreasing by the day but i try not to eat so much by using water to shut my stomach up.  I only have like 2 shirts and 2 shorts for training and i keep alternating between the two…. i need FBT shorts, sports bras and tank tops for running!!!  but i owe my brother money so i can’t spend much either….headache.

On a happy note, 2 weeks break is coming up and i have finished my project i was in-charge of!! so i can rest till the examinations!!! YAY! at least it’s not so stressful….

yikes. i feel like running and it’s 11pm…. should i or should i not…..hhmmmm……shall get offline 1st….ciaos…

the past two days were fun in school….my friends and i played truth or dare, alternating between the two each turn… the dares were fun!! like writing your name with your butt, saying hi to the person who comes in thru the door and dancing to “nobody” and “gee”…..

today after eating dinner with my parents we went home and i went in front of them to open the door…here’s the conversation that ensued:

Mum: Catch the keys…(pretends to throw)

Me: NOOO!

She seriously throws it at me this time..

Me: AHHH!( attempts to catch but fails)

Dad: You are worse than Rocky!

Me: WHAT?! I just have butterfingers!

Dad: Even Rocky can catch better than you!

Me:……….

So insulting right?!!! anywayz, just to clarify…. my dad throws the treats at Rocky and rocky can’t catch it like 90% of the time! in the 1st place, my dad shouldn’t compare me to my dog…it’s so…..so……sadd……

anyway, back to updates on my life. I rented a movie yesterday! A movie called, “Asylum” but I have not watched it yet though….still waiting for my sis to watch together with me. but by the time she wants to watch, i’m snoring. -_-” i just realized it’s 11.20pm already….probably gonna knock out soon. the early sign of tiredness: yawning.

I finished a 6 volume manga today. I feel a sense of accomplishment! All right! =)

was hanging out downstairs with my sis’ friends….watched them play blind mice….did not want to re-bathe so i didn’t play….at about midnight, 2 policemen came and checked everybody’s IC…i forgot to bring mine….so, the policeman asked me my name, IC no and address… i was secretly very happy cos it’s my first time getting checked!!!! Yay! Plus, one of her friends thought that I am the older sis!! MUAHAHAHAHA! i RULE. ok. gtg sleep. will definitely get red eye bags tomorrow…ciao di doo~~~

I am a very indoor person. I can stay at home for weeks, not going out and still feel happy. Isn’t that why computers were built? To serve its purpose of entertaining indoor people? =D

Everyday, I wake up, eat, stick my butt on a chair and watch dramas/anime…..which reminds me – I have to get around to reading manga…It’s a miracle I didn’t gain weight…well, anything works so long as I stay er…where I am? Hehe~ So it’s just eat, sleep, slack….i’ll have to attempt to go swimming tomorrow.

I recently bought a polaroid camera online! I’m super excited about it!!!! Each day is practically dragging past as I wait for the arrival of my treasure! I have decided! The 1st picture I’m going to take is the sky, 2nd would be my family (since we haven’t taken a family photo in a loong time), 3rd my friends! And I’m going to paste everything into a scrapbook!!!!

FINALLY! I have waited sooooo long to get a camera of my own!! I don’t really like digital camera except for its function of zooming in/out…I prefer polaroids way better! I don’t really know why….but I do remember wanting to get one since I was young! Yay. Can’t really be happy yet. I mean, what if the buyer decided to accept my payment and not send the treasure over?! OMG. I NEED to sleep. I’m getting too panicky…..goodnite.
